What is Calvary Preteens?
We’re so glad you’re here! Calvary Preteens is the place for 5th and 6th graders to build meaningful friendships, explore their faith, and have a ton of fun along the way. Whether it’s Sunday mornings, our weekly Ignite gathering (held during the school year), or other special events throughout the year, your preteen will find a safe, engaging environment designed just for them as we learn how to follow Jesus together.
Sunday Mornings
We know the preteen years are full of big questions, new friendships, and wanting more responsibilities. We have time specifically designed for preteens every Sunday morning at both our Bellevue and Shadow Lake campuses, during both the 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM services. Sunday mornings are designed just for 5th and 6th graders. It’s a place where your child can build lasting friendships, talk about Jesus in small groups, and have fun in a space created just for them—with games like Super Smash Bros, Tetris, card games, and more. We can’t wait to see your preteen this Sunday!
Ignite
During the school year, Ignite is Calvary’s Wednesday night program designed especially for 5th and 6th graders. Ignite is all about sparking faith and igniting a passion for Christ in the hearts of preteens. Through engaging teaching and meaningful relationships, we create space for them to encounter Jesus in ways that are real and relevant to their lives. Our desire is that every preteen would not just learn about God, but experience His presence, grow in their faith, and begin to live boldly for His purpose. It’s more than just a gathering—it’s the start of a faith journey that lasts a lifetime.
